Duties

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety are adhered to. Help with the storage and rotation of food supplies, ensuring freshness and compliance with health regulations. Support chefs during busy service periods by preparing ingredients and maintaining an efficient workflow. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly. Assist in maintaining stock levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork skills, with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for culinary arts and an interest in pursuing a career in hospitality or cooking.

Pay: 12.90-14.50 per hour
