Responsibilities

Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, supporting chefs and kitchen staff Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to meet hygiene standards Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware efficiently and promptly Ensure the cleanliness of all areas within the kitchen and back-of-house spaces Support with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations Restock supplies and organise storage areas to maintain an efficient workflow Follow health and safety protocols diligently to uphold a safe working environment Assist with general cleaning duties throughout the restaurant or hotel premises as required

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, or culinary processes is advantageous Experience in serving or working within a busy hospitality setting can be beneficial Familiarity with health and safety standards relevant to kitchens and food service environments is a plus

Pay: 12.21-20.35 per hour
