We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team. Responsibilities
Clean and sanitise all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces to uphold health and safety standards.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including peeling, chopping, and organising ingredients.
Support the cooking team during service periods by preparing ingredients and ensuring smooth workflow.
Maintain stock levels by organising storage areas and notifying management of supplies needed.
Ensure the cleanliness of the dining area and surrounding spaces at all times.
Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to create a safe working environment for all staff members.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and kitchen hygiene practices is desirable.
A positive attitude with good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings or weekends if necessary.
