Duties

Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to meet health and safety standards Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or kitchen staff Supporting the organisation of storage areas and ensuring all items are stored correctly Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and work areas throughout the shift Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with company policies Restocking supplies and ensuring all necessary items are readily available for kitchen staff Supporting the overall smooth running of the kitchen by performing additional duties as required

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or culinary environment is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key Basic understanding of food preparation and kitchen hygiene standards Ability to work efficiently within a team in a fast-paced environment Good organisational skills and attention to detail Flexibility to work shifts as required, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends if necessary A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role
