Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that all kitchen operations run smoothly by assisting with food preparation, cleaning, and basic kitchen duties. Duties

Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or kitchen staff Support the organisation and restocking of supplies and ingredients Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas throughout shifts Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations Ensure all health and safety protocols are adhered to at all times Support the team during busy service periods by providing general assistance as needed

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is advantageous but not essential Knowledge of food preparation and cooking processes is desirable Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen or serving environment is beneficial Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry out manual tasks A positive attitude towards learning new skills within the culinary or hospitality sector
