Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team in a bustling hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, supporting the culinary team in food preparation tasks.
Duties
- Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and sanitized at all times
- Washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Assisting chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks
- Emptying bins and removing waste to designated areas
- Keeping kitchen floors and work surfaces clean and tidy
- Supporting the team during busy service periods
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of basic kitchen hygiene practices
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and help wherever needed in a fast-paced kitchen setting
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: 12.21 per hour
