Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to support our pizzaioli in maintaining a CLEAN, organised, and efficient kitchen environment. The successful candidate will help in ensuring the smooth operation of food preparation also. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is essential.

Duties

Wash, clean, and sanitise dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas throughout shifts. Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed. Support the organisation and restocking of supplies in the kitchen and service areas. Support the team during busy periods by helping with serving or other hospitality duties as required. Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or kitchen staff Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

Skills

Good organisational skills with an eye for cleanliness and detail. Ability to work efficiently under supervision in a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of hygiene standards within a kitchen setting. Strong team player Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary operations and customer service. Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings or weekends.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
