Job Description

We are a four star family hotel overlooking the famous Fistral Beach, home to Quiksilver Surf School.

Role & Responsibilities:

Assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen production areas. Washing dishes manually and also by using the dishwasher. Assisting in basic food preparation if needed Cleaning pots, pans and any other kitchen utensils. Maintain the kitchen work areas in accordance with HACCP regulations. Storing away all crockery, cutlery and glassware. Sweeping and mopping the kitchen floor. Emptying bins when they are full. Reporting any fault equipment to the kitchen manager or chef and then arranging for their repair. Keeping breakages down to a minimum. Complying with the daily cleaning rotas. Taking all dirty linen and cloths from the kitchen to the hotel laundry. Handling all deliveries and stock rotation accordingly. Assisting in other areas of the hotel when required to. To ensure good working relationship with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel. To understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control and Emergency Aid. All other duties as required
