We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team in a bustling hotel restaurant. The ideal candidate will help support the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the guidance of the chefs
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Ensure kitchen waste is disposed of properly
- Keep kitchen floors and work surfaces clean and sanitised
- Support chefs during service by fetching ingredients or equipment as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a hotel or restaurant kitchen environment
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques
