Duties
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or cooks.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
Support chefs during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed.
Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Participate in maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is advantageous but not essential.
A keen interest in culinary arts and food preparation is highly valued.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within the hospitality sector.
