As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring that the kitchen area is clean, organised, and well-equipped. Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or cooks. Help organise kitchen supplies and ensure that all utensils and equipment are stored properly. Support the culinary team during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed. Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure recycling procedures are followed. Maintain a tidy work environment to promote safety and efficiency in the kitchen. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen, KP and fryer emptying and cleaning A strong willingness to learn and help within a team-oriented atmosphere. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately. A passion for culinary arts and an interest in food preparation processes. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Flexibility to work various shifts as required, including evenings and weekends.
