Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use. Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation. Support chefs and cooks during busy service periods by providing assistance as needed. Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in regular cleaning schedules, including deep cleaning tasks as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. A passion for food and hospitality, with an eagerness to develop culinary skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills to liaise with kitchen staff effectively. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
