Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and ensure all ingredients are ready for cooking. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Support chefs by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking tasks as required. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help with inventory management by keeping track of stock levels and reporting shortages. Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment at all times. Assist in serving meals during busy periods, providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

Previous kitchen experience or restaurant experience is preferred but not essential. A background in hospitality or culinary arts is advantageous. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to learn and develop culinary skills, including food preparation and cooking techniques. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
