Job Overview:

A kitchen porter is invaluable to the smooth running of any kitchen team. At the Haycock hotel we are all one team that supports each other in providing the best journey for our guests.

This entry level role is perfect for anyone with the enthusiasm and drive to want to start a career within the kitchen.

Salary:

10-12.21 per hour based on age

Responsibilities:

Cleaning pots, pans and plates Machine washing floors Removing rubbish Maintaining high levels of kitchen hygiene Occasionally helping with food preparation

Qualifications:

2 years of experience in a similar position or within a similar establishment is preferred. While no formal qualifications are required, any experience within the role previously is beneficial. A positive attitude, a strong willingness to learn, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment are essential.
