Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients as directed by the chefs. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans promptly. Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned and stored correctly after use. Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked with necessary supplies. Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Assist with waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote sustainability within the kitchen. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Basic culinary skills or knowledge of food preparation techniques would be advantageous. A strong work ethic with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. A passion for hospitality and delivering high-quality service to guests. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
