We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen environment, supporting the culinary team to deliver excellent service. Duties

Washing, peeling, and preparing ingredients as required for cooking and service Cleaning dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision Maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas in line with health and safety regulations Supporting the culinary team with organisational tasks such as restocking supplies and waste disposal Ensuring all kitchen areas are kept tidy and organised at all times Assisting with the setup and breakdown of service areas before and after shifts

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and kitchen hygiene standards is desirable Experience in serving or working within a culinary environment is a plus Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the hospitality sector

Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21 per hour
