Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment. Support chefs during service by ensuring that all necessary ingredients and tools are readily available. Help with the washing up of dishes, pots, and pans to keep the kitchen running smoothly. Assist in the storage of food items and maintain proper stock levels. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure compliance within the kitchen. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is desirable but not essential. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous. A passion for cooking and hospitality is highly valued. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
