Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
At times assist in food preparation tasks as directed by chefs, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
Support cooking staff by ensuring all kitchen equipment is clean and ready for use.
Help with the storage of food supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation to maintain freshness.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of hygiene at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods.
Assist in serving meals as required, contributing to a positive dining experience for guests.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is advantageous but not essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork skills, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Experience in hospitality or culinary settings is preferred but not mandatory.
