Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen team by ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.

Duties

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and utensils. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation. Support chefs during busy periods by providing assistance where needed. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is advantageous but not essential; we welcome individuals eager to learn. A basic understanding of hospitality practices and food preparation techniques is beneficial. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are required to maintain cleanliness and efficiency. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while being a supportive team player. A genuine interest in hospitality will be highly regarded.
