Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating when necessary. Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring that all food handling practices are followed. Help with stock rotation and inventory management to minimise waste. Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for the culinary arts is key. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills would be advantageous. Experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
