We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our team at The Cross Keys Inn. This role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that our culinary team can operate efficiently. Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly and efficiently.
Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs.
Ensure that all kitchen supplies are stocked and organized.
Help maintain a safe and hygienic working environment in accordance with health regulations.
Support kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and teamwork mentality.
Basic understanding of food safety practices is an advantage.
