Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all surfaces and equipment are sanitised. Support chefs during service by fetching ingredients and assisting with cooking tasks as required. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety regulations. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchenware promptly to ensure a smooth workflow. Dispose of waste properly and assist in maintaining stock levels of cleaning supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, with a focus on restaurant or hotel settings. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service to guests. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Pay: 12.21-14.70 per hour
