Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Your role will also involve collaborating with the kitchen staff to provide seamless service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Assist in food preparation when required, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Engage with customers to provide excellent hospitality, taking orders and making recommendations based on their preferences. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and report any shortages to management. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar environment. Handle cash transactions accurately, using basic maths skills for processing payments.

Skills

Proven experience in a bartending role or similar hospitality position is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Ability to work collaboratively within a team, particularly with kitchen staff. Exceptional communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour towards customers. Basic culinary skills are advantageous for assisting in food preparation when necessary. A keen interest in mixology and staying updated on beverage trends will be beneficial.
