Responsibilities

Washing, cleaning, and sanitising all kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, and equipment Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as directed by senior kitchen staff Ensuring the cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas to meet health and safety standards Supporting the organisation of stock and supplies within the kitchen Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently Maintaining a high standard of hygiene throughout the kitchen at all times Supporting the culinary team during busy service periods by ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Good organisational skills with attention to detail Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking and food service A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50-14.50 per hour
