The Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in delivering high-quality food and service. This role is vital to the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and storage areas.

Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as required.

Dispose of waste and recyclables correctly, following health and safety guidelines.

Ensure kitchen floors, surfaces, and equipment are kept clean and organized.

Receive and store deliveries, checking for quality and proper storage.

Assist with stock rotation and inventory management when required.

Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.

Support the team in maintaining a smooth workflow during busy periods.

Requirements:

Previous kitchen or cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.

Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety standards.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if needed.

Physical stamina to handle long periods of standing, lifting, and moving items.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
