Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment, supporting chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a busy hospitality setting, with potential pathways for career development within the industry. Prior experience in food preparation or hospitality is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

Washing, peeling, and preparing ingredients as directed by the kitchen team Cleaning all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces to maintain hygiene standards Assisting with basic food preparation tasks when required Ensuring that the kitchen area is clean, tidy, and organised at all times Supporting the delivery of excellent customer service by maintaining a clean and welcoming environment Assisting with stock organisation and storage in accordance with safety regulations Supporting the team during busy service periods to ensure efficiency and cleanliness are maintained

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations is a plus Experience in serving or working within a culinary setting will be advantageous A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential qualities for success in this role
