You will be working in friendly, professional environment providing seasonal support for a very busy breakfast service. Attention to detail is essential to ensure a high standard of service is maintained. As this is a critical role to kitchen operations reliability is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen Porter
Maintain a clean, tidy, and hygienic kitchen environment, washing dishes and equipment, assisting with basic food preparation, and supporting the kitchen staff, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Follow hotel policies and safety protocols
Ensure that all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner
Assist with any emergency procedures or evacuation drills when necessary
Some physical tasks involved, such as standing for long periods and carrying light loads
Required Skills:
An ability to multitask and work at speed is
essential
Basic knowledge of hotel operations is preferred but not required
A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to assist guests and colleagues
Flexibility to work in different areas of the hotel if needed
Working Conditions and Salary:
Seasonal role. April - Mid - October
2 shifts patterns available: Weekdays - Monday to Friday OR Weekends - Saturday and Sunday.
Hours 7.45am - 12pm
Days and hours worked will vary dependant on demand
Working hours include weekends and public holidays
Up to 12.71 an hour
Training and uniform provided
There is very limited public transport to the village, so employees must have own transport or live within comfortable commute or walking distance to the hotel
