We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities

Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or kitchen supervisors Clean and sanitise dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure compliance with health and safety standards Support the organisation of kitchen storage areas, including stock rotation and inventory management Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and other kitchen areas throughout shifts Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with company policies Support the team during busy service periods by ensuring all necessary items are readily available for food preparation and service Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to promote a safe working environment

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Basic understanding of food hygiene standards and safety procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Good organisational skills with attention to detail Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, cooking, and hospitality services Flexibility to work shifts as required, including early mornings or evenings if necessary A positive attitude and team-oriented approach to work

Pay rate depends on the Applicants age and experience
