We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation by washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables as required. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen by washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use. Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking tasks when necessary. Help maintain stock levels by assisting with inventory management and reporting any shortages. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff. Participate in regular cleaning schedules, including deep cleaning of kitchen areas as directed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Basic food preparation skills and knowledge of cooking techniques are advantageous. A passion for hospitality and a willingness to learn about culinary practices. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration with colleagues. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
