We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness and organisation while assisting with food preparation and service. Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking. Support chefs during service by ensuring that all necessary utensils and ingredients are readily available. Help with the organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items and cleaning supplies. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff. Assist in maintaining equipment cleanliness and report any maintenance issues to senior staff. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. A passion for food preparation and cooking, with an eagerness to learn from experienced chefs. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Experience in hospitality or culinary settings would be advantageous. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
