Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team at The Bridge Hotel & Spa in Wetherby. This role is vital in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring a clean, organized environment for our culinary team. Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met. Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs. Support the kitchen team during busy service periods. Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies. Dispose of waste responsibly and keep the kitchen tidy. Follow health and safety regulations at all times. Help with stock rotation and inventory checks as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospitality or kitchen environment is preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Knowledge of food hygiene standards is an advantage. Enthusiasm for working in the hospitality industry. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
