Duties

Assist with the preparation of ingredients for cooking, ensuring that all food items are ready for chefs. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Clean and sanitise work surfaces, equipment, and utensils to adhere to health and safety standards. Support chefs during busy service periods by providing assistance as needed. Help with stock rotation and inventory management to ensure freshness of ingredients. Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain a tidy working environment. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe kitchen atmosphere.

Experience

Previous experience in a culinary or hospitality role is advantageous but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. A basic understanding of kitchen operations or food preparation techniques is beneficial. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and willingness to help colleagues as needed.
