We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic & experienced Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our culinary team by ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of ingredients for cooking, ensuring all food items are ready for chefs.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
Help with the disposal of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Support chefs during busy service periods by providing assistance as needed.
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist in maintaining stock levels of cleaning supplies and kitchen utensils.
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is essential.
A keen interest in culinary arts and food preparation is highly desirable.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy restaurant or hotel setting.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to maintain cleanliness standards.
Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as required by the kitchen team.
Good communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues.
