Duties
Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation tasks, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly.
Ensure that work surfaces, floors, and storage areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation and organisation.
Support the culinary team during busy service periods by providing assistance as needed.
Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for the culinary arts is key.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Excellent teamwork skills and a willingness to help colleagues as needed.
