We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties

Responsible for cleaning and sanitising all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces to uphold hygiene standards. Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients. Supporting chefs and kitchen staff with organisational tasks such as restocking supplies and maintaining storage areas. Ensuring waste disposal is managed correctly and that the kitchen remains tidy throughout service periods. Assisting with the transportation of dishes, ingredients, and supplies within the kitchen area. Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times to promote a safe working environment.

Skills

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory. Knowledge of restaurant or hotel kitchen operations is beneficial. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary processes and kitchen management.
