Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team. The Kitchen Porter will assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen environment, supporting the culinary team in food preparation tasks, and ensuring a smooth operation. Responsibilities: - Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas - Assist with basic food preparation under the guidance of chefs or cooks - Manage waste disposal procedures efficiently - Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and notify when items are running low - Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment - Support kitchen staff in various tasks as needed Experience: - Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred - Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced culinary setting - Strong communication skills to collaborate with kitchen team members Skills: - Experience or interest in culinary, hospitality, or restaurant industry - Willingness to learn and help with various kitchen duties - Familiarity with basic food preparation techniques and kitchen operations Join our team as a Kitchen Porter to contribute to the smooth functioning of our kitchen operations while gaining valuable experience in the culinary field.
