Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of food items as directed by chefs and cooks Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies Support chefs during busy service periods by providing additional assistance as required Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff Participate in regular cleaning schedules to maintain hygiene standards

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential A keen interest in culinary arts and food preparation is advantageous Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff
