Fairways Golf Centre, Restaurant and Sports Bar is a well established business in Inverness , where GUESTS can pop in just for a quick pint or bite, right up to hosting weddings. In 2020 we underwent a massive refurbishment adding even more to offer with a bustling sports bar and pizzeria, as well as a full refurbishment of our resturant, kitchen and events space.

Duties

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Assist chefs with food preparation tasks, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking. Help with the storage and rotation of food items to ensure freshness and compliance with health standards. Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and in good working order. Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by providing assistance as needed. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in regular cleaning schedules and deep cleaning tasks as required.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. A willingness to learn and develop skills in food preparation and culinary techniques. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure. Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A passion for the hospitality industry, with an interest in cooking and food service.
Monday to Friday 9am-5pm position

We close Christmas day, Boxing Day and New Years Day

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
