Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team at The Knights Care Home in Lytham St Annes. This role is essential in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care through nutritious meal preparation. Your contributions will directly impact the well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently Support chefs with basic cooking tasks as needed Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met Organize and store food supplies properly Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment Assist with inventory management of kitchen supplies Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Previous kitchen experience preferred Strong understanding of food safety practices Ability to work effectively in a team environment Good communication skills Willingness to learn and take on new tasks Basic cooking skills are an advantage but not mandatory. Experience in hospitality or culinary settings is a plus.
