We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
Washing, cleaning, and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including peeling, chopping, and organising ingredients.
Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods by ensuring all items are readily available.
Maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas to comply with health and safety regulations.
Collecting and disposing of waste appropriately to ensure a tidy working environment.
Assisting with stock organisation and inventory checks as required.
Supporting other kitchen staff with various tasks to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
Basic knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is advantageous.
Good organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and hospitality.
Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions accurately.
Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
