Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks as directed by the chefs. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and utensils. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Support the kitchen team during service by assisting with serving and plating dishes when required. Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment at all times. Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or pub kitchen is desirable but not essential. Basic culinary skills or knowledge of food preparation techniques would be advantageous. A passion for hospitality and a willingness to learn within a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
