We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team. Responsibilities
Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, and pans to uphold hygiene standards
Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen team
Ensuring the cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and kitchen equipment
Organising storage areas and ensuring all items are stored correctly
Supporting chefs and kitchen staff with general duties to facilitate smooth service
Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Managing waste disposal efficiently and responsibly
Skills
Experience in food preparation or cooking is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Previous restaurant, hotel, or hospitality experience is desirable
Knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions effectively
