We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team. Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all surfaces are sanitised. Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly to support the cooking process. Help with the storage of food items and supplies, ensuring proper rotation and labelling. Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating as needed. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food production.

Skills

Previous kitchen experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant or hotel setting. Basic food preparation skills and an understanding of cooking techniques. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure. A passion for hospitality and providing excellent service to guests. Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
