We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards
Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or kitchen staff
Ensuring the cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas in accordance with health and safety regulations
Supporting the organisation of stock and ingredients within the kitchen
Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently
Maintaining a tidy workspace throughout shifts to promote a safe working environment
Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
