Duties

Assist in meal preparation and cooking, ensuring that dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards. Engage in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing utensils and equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times. Support catering operations by preparing food items for events as required. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment or restaurant setting is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Culinary experience or formal training in cooking is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and serving quality food with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Pay: 12.50-15.00 per hour
