Duties

Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. Support the cooking process by preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and plating meals according to established recipes and guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, with an understanding of culinary techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in meal preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering setting is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A team player with excellent communication skills who can collaborate well with colleagues. A genuine passion for food and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.
