Responsibilities

Assist in meal preparation and cooking, following recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Support catering efforts by preparing food items for events and special occasions as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service delivery. Assist in serving meals when required, ensuring an excellent dining experience for guests.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, but not essential, with a focus on cooking, food preparation, or catering. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is desirable. Culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right candidate. A background in restaurant service or kitchen operations will be considered an asset. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Pay: 12.21-18.93 per hour
