Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in food preparation and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. You will play a vital part in delivering high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about cooking and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of meals, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for cooking. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately. Follow food safety protocols to ensure all meals are prepared in a safe and hygienic manner. Support chefs and other kitchen staff during busy service periods by helping with various tasks as needed. Participate in catering events as required, contributing to the overall success of the service. Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly.

Experience

Previous experience in a commercial environment is essential. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices will be advantageous. A Level 2 in food safety and allergy awareness is required. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.

Shift 1: Mon - Thu from 15:50pm - 22:10pm

Shift 2: Thu - Sun from 15:50 - 22:10pm
