We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our on-site catering team. Working as part of a small team, in this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, contributing to the preparation of high-quality meals and high food safety standards. Responsibilities

You'll be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of hot and cold meals, helping plan menus, and occasionally covering in the absence of the senior cook. This is a hands-on role requiring previous experience in a similar kitchen environment. Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and hygienic manner, adhering to food safety regulations. Help maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, including washing utensils and equipment. Support catering events by preparing food items as required and assisting with service. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods. Participate in inventory management by helping to track stock levels and report shortages. Contribute ideas for menu development and improvements in food presentation.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment, such as catering or restaurant settings is essential. Up-to-date Food Hygiene certification (minimum Level 2). Strong knowledge of allergens and safe handling procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a small, friendly team. Confidence in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning new skills in the culinary field.
