and this is dependent on your age. We offer a zero-hour contract and the shifts would predominately be on weekends. This is a part-time role.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in dessert preparation, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a desire to contribute to an exceptional dining experience.

Duties

Assist in the preparation of desserts according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area. Help with the setup and breakdown of catering events as required. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to proper culinary techniques. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with meal preparation, food safety practices, and kitchen operations is advantageous. A passion for culinary arts and a willingness to learn new skills are essential attributes for this role. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
